Regarding galvanized channel steel
Production process
Pretreatment: It includes raw material inspection, pickling, cleaning and other steps to remove the oxides and impurities on the surface of the channel steel and obtain a clean pure iron active surface.
Galvanizing: The pre-treated channel steel is sent into a zinc pot for hot-dip galvanizing. The temperature of the zinc pot is generally maintained at around 440-460℃, causing a zinc layer to adhere to the surface of the channel steel.
Post-treatment: After galvanizing, the channel steel undergoes cooling, passivation, cleaning and other treatments to enhance the corrosion resistance and adhesion of the zinc layer. Finally, it undergoes finished product inspection and packaging.
Characteristics
Strong corrosion resistance: The zinc layer can effectively prevent oxidation on the surface of steel. In normal atmosphere, a very thin and dense layer of zinc oxide forms on the surface of the zinc layer, which is difficult to dissolve in water and plays a certain protective role for the steel substrate. If zinc oxide forms insoluble zinc salts with other components in the atmosphere, the anti-corrosion effect will be even more ideal.
High strength: After galvanizing treatment, the hardness and strength of galvanized channel steel are both enhanced, making it more durable than ordinary steel. It has high tensile and compressive strength and can withstand large loads.
Good toughness: It shows good toughness when impacted or twisted, is not easy to break, and can effectively absorb external force impacts.
Good processing performance: Due to zinc's excellent ductility, its alloy layer adheres firmly to the steel base. Therefore, hot-dip galvanized parts can undergo various forming processes such as cold stamping, rolling, drawing, and bending without damaging the coating. They can also be processed through cold bending, cutting, and other methods to meet the demands of different engineering fields.
Aesthetic appearance: The surface is smooth, the color is uniform, and it has a certain luster. The appearance is elegant and generous, which can enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of buildings or other structures.
Application field
In the field of architecture: It is often used in parts such as stairs, handrails, and roof trusses in building structures, and can also serve as the main material for beams, columns, slabs and other components, enhancing the durability of building materials and improving the load-bearing capacity and seismic performance of buildings.
Manufacturing industry: It can be used to manufacture lightweight structures, shelves, warehouse equipment, etc., and can also be used to make structural and supporting components for mechanical equipment, ships, vehicles, etc., improving the quality and service life of products.
Bridge engineering: As the supporting structure of Bridges, it can enhance the stability and durability of Bridges.
Transportation industry: It is used for the construction and maintenance of infrastructure such as Bridges, expressways, and railways, such as building guardrails and bridge support structures.
Other fields: In the home appliance manufacturing industry, it can be used as the frame for products such as refrigerators and washing machines; In the furniture manufacturing industry, it can be used to make the supporting structures and frames of furniture. In the advertising industry, it can be used to make billboards, light boxes, etc., providing a solid structural support.
